Clinical Attire Specifications

Fourth- and fifth-year students undergoing clinical training in departmental clinics are required to wear a dark blue uniform, consisting of matching top and bottom pieces. Students may wear a plain, long-sleeved white shirt underneath a short-sleeved uniform. Female students who wear headscarves must use a plain white scarf that is not excessively long. Additionally, students may choose to wear a white coat over their uniform. Sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jeans, tracksuits, shorts, or similar attire are not permitted over the uniform.

Restrictions and Basic Rules for Student Attire in Clinical and Laboratory Applications

In clinical and laboratory settings:;

a) Only university and faculty logos, badges, or emblems are allowed. Other badges, insignias, symbols, or pins are not permitted.

b) Clothing that negatively affects health or does not align with seasonal conditions is not permitted.

c) Clothing must be clean and pressed; torn, holed, or transparent garments are not allowed.

d) Items with political symbols, insignias, or writings, such as scarves, berets, caps, hats, or bags, are prohibited.

e) To prevent cross-contamination, hair should be tied back and not left loose or unkempt in a way that interferes with laboratory or clinical procedures.

f) Nails must be kept short for hygiene purposes, and nail polish is not permitted. Long nails and artificial nails that hinder laboratory and clinical practices are prohibited.

g) Makeup should be minimal; a natural and light application is preferred.dir.

h) Jewelry should be minimal. No jewelry, such as dangling bracelets or earrings, that might interfere with laboratory or clinical activities is allowed.

i) Comfortable, hygienic shoes, such as white or dark-colored sneakers or medical clogs, are preferred. Footwear like open shoes, sandals, boots, and high heels that leave the ankle exposed is prohibited.,

j) Male students must maintain clean, neatly trimmed hair and beards. Long hair should be tied under the coat, and hair accessories should be minimized.

 Students who do not comply with the dress code are not allowed to enter laboratories or clinics..
