Iğdır University Faculty of Dentistry was established by the Presidential Decision No. 3519, published in the Official Gazette No. 31387 on February 6, 2021. This decision was made to address the need for dental education as part of Turkey's goal of training qualified professionals in the health sector.

Since its establishment, the Faculty of Dentistry has aimed to provide the best education to its students through modern teaching methods and a well-equipped infrastructure.
